The event was well attended and well done. We raised $1100 for the Mansion to fix their crumbling front steps. We are currently working on getting pictures up from the event (they came out so well!) So stay tuned! Thanks to all who participated! The mansion is planning to do it all again in 2012!

Reenactors needed to participate in this local fundraiser as servants, greeters, family members, and entertainers! Please support local history!
This event will be a fundraiser for the Mills Mansion in Mt. Morris. The event will be a tea that the public can purchase tickers for. The year is 1859. They will attend a time slot. Upon arriving at the mansion, a greeter will meet them at the door and direct them to one of the three large rooms on the firt floor, and the porch if the weather is nice. There they will find a person who is portraying a member of the family who lived in the Mills Mansion. That person will see that each public person is served and seated. Meanwhile, they can chat about the latest town news.
Once seated and served, the audience will be treated to several forms of period entertainment. This goes on for about a half hour and the acts rotate between rooms. Then the guests are free to explore the rest of the mansion and leave for the next group to come in. Contact me or see this link for more information:
